Continúa una de las series más exitosas de la cadena Fox en su cuarta temporada, esta vez presentando a un House solo y obligado por su jefa a conseguir nuevo personal para su Departamento de Diagnóstico Médico.
Entre situaciones amenas, charlas médica, diagnósticos erróneos y una fuerte carga de emotividad, se hace presente un puñado de temas que complementan el propósito de cada historia: hacer sentir el ambiente que se vive en el Hospital Princeton.
En esta cuarta temporada podemos encontrar una variedad de canciones como Let Me In de Hot Hot Heat, Not As We de Alanis Morissette, Slide Away de The Verve, Spirit In The Sky de Norman Greenbaum, Santa Claus Is Coming To Town de Ramsey Lewis Trio y la extraña versión de Teardrop realizada por Jose Gonzalez, además de las acostumbradas improvisaciones de Hugh Laurie en guitarra y piano.
